Pulse Watch: Day 1: 2 July 2010

The number one item on the news today is a grainy video, delivered by a radical, pro-Earth, group calling itself the Army of Light, to the major news networks in the United States and posted on the Internet. Within a matter of hours, the video has gone viral with over a million hits in the first two hours alone.

In the video, a masked spokesperson for the Army of Light provides what appears to be compelling proof that the satellite software provides a back door and a mechanism to chain the satellites together. Ewell Technologies controversial technology capable of delivering an electromagnetic pulse via satellite is not only not secure but, if the video is to be believed, now a threat to the entire planet.

"The Earth is dying, poisoned by societies that chose profit over responsible governmental and corporate practice. People of the Earth, the planet can wait no longer. We act on behalf of the world against the governments and corporations who have betrayed our mother. You have three days to prepare. Three days and three days only.  Do not waste them."

A government official, on condition on anonymity, said that the high-level meetings were taking place and that the terrorist group and its claims were being investigated. Company founder and CEO, Woodrow Ewell IV was not available for comment.
